As the Vengaboys would say: ‘Oh! We’re going to Ibiza!’ – and if that’s not the anthem for your girl’s holiday then we suggest you add it to your playlist sharpish!

When it comes to packing for such a holiday take a look at our specially created lookbook, featuring some of the hottest styles you should be wearing, for any summer break.

First things first, though – your airport outfit. We all know your holiday starts as soon as that case is packed and in the car, ready to go, and no matter how long your flight is you still need to look good.

The average flight time from the UK to Ibiza is just over two hours so you should definitely pull on some comfy wide leg trousers, a cute crop and a cosy cardigan – for when the air conditioning blasts out and gets to be too much. It’s a good idea to also keep your make up minimal, with just some tinted moisturiser, brows and mascara, so there’s no awkward eyeliner smears if you fall asleep on your friend/stranger’s shoulder!

This summer it’s all about sheer and (kind of) flashing a bit of skin with a crochet throw over or cut out top, paired with your favourite bikini and comfy shorts – a look that’s perfect for those impromptu boat parties you might find yourself heading to (if you can get tickets, Oceanbeat is definitely a party to be seen at).

If you’re planning a visit to the nearest beach bar, after a long day of tanning yourself, you should definitely consider donning a super comfortable and lightweight jumpsuit. Finish the look off with some chunky heels and beach styled waves to complement that gorgeous glow from a day in the sun.

If you’re wondering which beachside bars are the best to make your way to, we’ve got the lowdown on three of our favourites:

Global Reggae Bar – if you’re looking for a laid back vibe, amazing cocktails and live reggae acts, as well as a DJ on the decks all day long, then this is the beach bar to make a beeline for.

Tiare Ibiza – considered one of the liveliest beach blubs on the island, parties here start in the afternoon and don’t stop until the early morning. With a pool to lounge in, a bar serving a huge variety of cocktails and dance music playing all day long you’ll never want to leave!

Amante beach club – if you and the girls are looking for an evening of luxury after a heavy club night then Amante is the perfect destination. With comfy seating, great food and stunning cocktails overlooking the Mediterranean, you can’t go wrong.

Remember girls; apply plenty of sun cream, drink more water than after a fitness class and of course, don’t stop dancing!
